Additionally, its just minutes to downtown Sarasota, Florida and amazingly close to world renowned St. Armand's Circle, known for its fine dining and shopping.
This AAA 4 DIAMOND beach front property is a condo-hotel consisting of seven buildings, totaling 222 units.
Here you will find year round average temperatures of 73 degrees and it is one of the very finite number of destinations on the West Coast of Florida where you can enjoy playing golf and pristine white sandy beaches all in the same location.
The resort also received the "Green Lodging" certificate from the state and is the first resort in our area to be officially designated a "Green Business Partner."
Q: What could you buy here?
This property offers luxurious suites from a 650 square feet, club suite to 1700 square feet, deluxe two bedroom with either beach, lagoon, or golf course views. There are three basic residence types which include a club suite, a lock-out feature or standard two bedroom, or a deluxe two bedroom.
They all have fully equipped granite kitchens, indoor laundry facilities and all have private terraces that capture the most beautiful views of the beach, golf course, or lagoon.
Historically, 10% of the units are for sale at any given time and currently range in price from mid $200's to $1MM + depending on the size and the view.

As an owner that participates in the hotel rental program, you have full enjoyment of full spectrum of recreational activities.

Q: How does the rental program work?As an owner, you have the option of putting your condo in the hotel program or not. If you choose to join the rental program, you would sign an agreement with the hotel group and they would begin to handle the rentals for you.
- Units are rented out on a rotation basis allowing equal usage of all suites.
- The owner may enjoy the use of their unit for up to 28 days per year at no charge. You can simply reserve a day a weekend or a week at a time. Owner's are entitled to fourteen nights during the period of December 15 to April 30, plus fourteen nights from May 1 to December 14. There are provisions if you want to use your unit more than the allowed 28 days per year. Owner time is complimentary, however housekeeping and departure cleaning charges do apply.
- Another advantage of purchasing a unit here is that you will have no worries as they will handle the marketing, housekeeping, maintenance coordination and management. Every month you will receive � of the income along with your itemized statement of income and expenses. Q: What is the history of the property?
One of Sarasota's early visionaries chose this spot to build the Ritz Carlton Hotel since it would offer water views, a golf course and opulence. Due to the financial reasons and the Great Depression, it was never completed. In 1965, it was completely torn down and Arvida developed what is now, the Longboat Key Club. The Resort, part of the Longboat Key Club, was opened in 1982. The property consists of seven buildings (four on the beach, one with golf course views and the two remaining have lagooon views)\, a large pool area and dining.
